The NEWS recently met with Edenvale-based band Slippery When Wet, following the release of their new album. Also read: Legendary jazz musician Ray Phiri has passed away The local ska-punk band released their album, Kicking Fish, on February 17. Also read: St Andrew’s singing sensation is through to final round of talent competition Slippery When Wet at one of their shows. Founded in 2012, the band was formed by two brothers – Kieron Patton and Jadd Stein-Hard – and their passion for music. Vocalist and trombone player for the band Kieron said friends who could play instruments were asked to join the band. The band now consists of five members – Jadd, Kieron, Wally Baggins, Brad Wiggins and Les Bainbridge. Edenvale band talks about their passion for music, release of new album
